The local newspaper has done a review of our exhibition. I must say, I never ever thought of Shoji screen partitions in Japanese homes when I was making the pillars. It's always interesting what others see.
Grazie. Indeed Judith has quite a background in textiles, both as a practitioner and in teaching, in addition to TONS of weaver friends so much more experience than me. I? Myself. I think she also knows quite a bit about photography, which gives her a unique, and acute (is that the word?) eye/POV. Goodness, English is difficult.
Excellent review, great picture.
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed an excellent review. Sounds as though Judith Ritchie really enjoys her textiles, which is great - hope it encourages lots of visitors.
